Root Catering

I was approached by a freelance Chef who wanted to have some bespoke tags designed that could be added to produce they’d made and given to potential clients as part of a marketing strategy.  I worked closely with the chef to work out the best approach.

At the heart of Root’s cooking were fresh herbs and specially selected ingredients and this is what they wanted to emphasise. I drew a series of herbs and incorporated the names in the designs - the clients chose 2 and then it was decided these would translate well into rubber stamps so that the image could be printed on different surfaces and materials. With this in mind the text was removed.
