Whilst on my travels in the last few years, I’ve collated images of memorable buildings on my camera and in my sketchbook. When I was in New York, influenced by my surroundings, the idea of building a cityscape throughout the year cemented in my head.

Back in my flat, I got to work flicking through my old sketchbooks looking for my favourite buildings so I could start on the design solution. I spent a lot of time working out the logistics and design restrictions; and after cutting out lots of buildings and a lot of modification, I have created a product that I love. I like the fact that everybody can interact with the calendar and build a cityscape to suit them.
