Dominie, the owner, approached me to do a series of paintings inspired by the trees on the village green. First thing I did was to pop to the little village green and collects some of the different varieties of the fallen leaves to draw from. Dominie gave me a fun and playful palette to work with.
These series of paintings have been influential in forming the brand’s visual identity - to decorate the walls of the shops interior and as a repeat print for the branding suite used throughout, including on business cards and on gift vouchers.
